Good Morning and happy Saturday!
I am up and have the hunger pangs of sweet desire for a cinnamon role. I am not sure where I am going to get one of those at 7AM in Denver, North Carolina; however, you can bet your bottom dollar that I am going to try.
Anyway, my husband and I recently attended a beautiful wedding. As you can imagine, being 22 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out what to wear was a challenge, so today I bring to you how I chose what to wear to the wedding without spending extra cash.
As an expectant first-time parent, there are quite a lot of things you have to purchase for your little one. From strollers to car seats to cribs and rockers, the list goes on and on – and that’s only covering the large, expensive items.
We have been doing our best to ball-out on a budget, and buy items that are transitional from our baby boy to potentially another child someday (even a girl).
So when we were invited to a wedding, I thought – how am I going to save some money and wear something that I already own?
Well, I will tell you that I got a little lucky.
I have always been someone who buys quite a lot of neutral attire that can repurposed. So fortunately for me, I had a couple of different options that I could have chose from.
I ended up picking an outfit that had a stretchy underlay that was a nude color with a lace overlay that was separate.
The outfit worked out great, despite it being rather cold on that respective evening due to a few storms that came through our area that weekend.
Finding an outfit to wear to a formal event during pregnancy can be hard, but I’ve linked some of my favorite websites/clothing stores below:
